The Department of Entomology at the University of Minnesota is currently seeking an 
Assistant Professor & Extension Entomologist in Corn Entomology.

Join our team of researchers and academics as a faculty member and extension professional working on Corn Entomology. We invite applications from candidates with a passion for the sustainable management of field and sweet corn pests. 

This position will be a nine-month, tenure-track appointment involving 40% research and 60% extension that supports the mission and values of the department and college. The candidate in this position will establish an externally funded, relevant and innovative research program for arthropod pests in corn production systems. The candidate will also establish an effective and dynamic research-based Extension program. Both research and extension activities will support the ongoing needs of corn producers and incorporate  industry-wide input and feedback from colleagues.
