Agriculture & Plant Protection

Courses in Agriculture & Plant Protection will give you a background in insect - plant interactions within managed (agricultural) and natural (forest, prairie, etc.) environments. Learn about insect identification and the basic biology of important insect pests within these systems. Coursework will emphasize integrated pest management strategies including knowledge of insect ecology, pesticide application, and the use of beneficial insects. Increase your understanding of agroecosystems by increasing your insect knowledge.
