ESA 2023 at National Harbor, MD, was an exciting event for UMN Entomology with excellent oral and poster/infographic presentations in the student competitions for the President’s Prize, several of which won awards, the ultimate trifecta of UMN students winning all three of the national student awards in the Plant-Insect Ecosystem (PIE) section of ESA, and the UMN Pollinator Education Toolkit receiving the Science Communication Award. Also, the Minnesota-Wisconsin Mixer buzzed with UMN Entomology Alumni chatter!
